Osteoarthritic (OA) treatment for dogs is currently limited to NSAIDs. These are effective in some cases but the negative side effects of these drugs, especially long term, can cause additional significant health complications.
This study looks at CBD oil as a safe and non-toxic alternative. The results show initial positive findings with recommendations for a larger study. The study suggests that 2mg of CBD twice a day can help comfort and increase activity in OA dogs. Woof!
